Frequently Asked Questions

The gala is an annual fundraising event for Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center (HCPCC) in Boerne, TX. Funds raised at this event allow HCPCC to continue to offer free pregnancy and parenting services to local families. The event consists of a catered meal, a program highlighting the impact of our services, and an opportunity to financially and prayerfully support the services and needs of the center.

No, we don’t charge to attend. However, we do ask that you would prayerfully consider a monetary donation to support the ongoing work of HCPCC and the clients whose stories will be shared through the event.

No, there is no cost to host a table. Please invite friends who would support our life-affirming mission and would consider supporting the work of HCPCC.

Because our program content discusses sensitive topics, we prefer not to have children in attendance.

Yes. Due to our limited seating capacity, all guests must be registered.

Registration

Registration is easy! 

  • Once registration opens, click the Register Online button above.
  • Follow the prompts to choose your session and the appropriate registration option.

Registration will close on Tuesday, September 1. However, in previous years, we have sold out prior to that date. We suggest registering as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for supporting HCPCC by inviting your friends and family to our fundraising Gala! Please register as a table host as soon as possible, as tables are reserved quickly. You do not need to have a complete guest list to register.

  • Click the Register Online button above
  • Choose the session (lunch or dinner) at which you would like to host a table.
  • Fill in your name and check the box for “Yes, I would like to be a Table Host.”
  • Fill in the rest of your information and click “finished”.
  • You will be sent a confirmation email with instructions for inviting and registering your guests.
  • Save your confirmation email to make additional updates to your guests.
  • If you’re experiencing difficulties registering, don’t hesitate to contact our office at 830-249-9717 and ask for Lulu Belz, Development Director. Or you can reach a member of our Gala Registration team at events@hcpcctexas.org.

Table Host registration will end on August 24. Please reserve your table by that date.

You will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your registration. There will also be links to share the event and contact information for our Gala registration team.

You will also receive important information and updates to the email you used to register. Please review the information in these emails carefully.

  • Invite your friends and family!
    • Since this is a fundraising event, we ask you to invite friends who support life and who would consider financially supporting the ongoing work of HCPCC.
    • You can email invitations directly to your guests from your Table Host Manager page.
  • As you receive RSVPs, update your table guest list.
    • Open your confirmation email
    • Click “Manage my guest list”
    • Add your guests’ information
    • You will receive a confirmation email with your changes.

Please contact our registration team for assistance.

You will not need a copy of the email to check in on gala day.

Table Hosts must be registered by August 24. (You may still add guest information after this date.)

All guest information should be submitted online by Tuesday, September 2, 2024.

Please call the HCPCC office (830-249-9717) and ask for Lulu or Amber.

You can cancel your registration by sending an email to events@hcpcctexas.org requesting to cancel your registration. Please include your full name.

Gala Day

There is no dress code, but we recommend business casual dress or nice “church clothes”. 

Doors will open 45 minutes before the event starts.

  • Lunch: Doors open at 10:45 a.m.
  • Dinner: Doors open at 5:15 p.m.

The program will start promptly (at 11:30 a.m. or 6 p.m.) so we recommend arriving early enough to park, check-in, and settle at your table before the program begins.

Parking is located off of W Hosack Street and W Highland Ave. 

  • Handicap parking is available off of Kronkosky Ave.
  • A drop-off driveway is available near the ballroom entrance on Kronkosky Ave.
  • There is an elevator from the lower parking lot to the ballroom entrance. Golf cart shuttles will also be available. 

This year, HCPCC is featuring client stories from our community.

  • Our lunch session will be catered by Smoke in the Hills and feature a chicken entree with sides and dessert. 
  • Our dinner session will be catered by Heavenly Gourmet and feature a chicken entree with salad, sides and dessert. 
  • A limited number of vegetarian plates will be available.
  • We may not be able to accommodate other dietary restrictions due to the large number of guests. We recommend that if you need to bring a meal that suits you, we can have the caterers plate it up.

Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center (HCPCC) was founded in 1987 with a mission to promote the value of life and help those facing difficult pregnancy and sexuality decisions by offering valuable resources and assistance, and extending the love of Christ.

Our programs are fully confidential, bilingual (English and Spanish) and ENTIRELY FREE for everyone.
